FB Cranes Preventative maintenance programme includes:
- A detailed, comprehensive Site survey
- Risk assessment report and debrief
- Service Proposal
- 12 month Agreement to look after your cranes. Before it breaks we know about it.
- Quarterly Frequent Inspection / Service all overhead cranes and/or other lifting equipment
- Annual Thorough Inspection of all overhead cranes and/or other lifting equipment. This will include opening of all motor covers, terminal box covers inspection holes for more thorough checks of gears, pinions wiring connections etc. A visual inspection and report will also be carried out on ancillary lifting tackle, slings, shackles and special lifting tools.
All this is done in accordance to the legal requirements outlined in the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) , Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and South African National Standards (SANS).
