Plate Grabs for Plate Handling
FB Cranes supplies plate grabs for plate-handling applications, with vertical, horizontal and universal options subject to the selected model’s specifications.
Selection depends on the plate material, thickness, weight, surface condition, lifting direction and rigging arrangement. The clamp’s working load limit, jaw opening, any minimum load requirement and permitted application must suit the proposed lift. Ask our team to assess the application before ordering.
Use and Care
Use, inspection and maintenance must follow the instructions for the selected model. Do not assume that one plate grab is suitable for every lifting direction, material or load shape. Cleaning and lubrication must follow the manufacturer’s specified requirements for the gripping surfaces and mechanism.
